Hustings – on Thursday last week the Sports Hall was packed for the GE Hustings, organised and run by the BWS Politics Society. The debate went well and was (in contrast to what was reported in the Salisbury Journal) almost all good-tempered and respectful. The two main issues that surfaced were inevitably Brexit and climate change, and though there were absolutely no surprises it was interesting to see the candidates in the flesh. That morning all five candidates were interviewed in school by BBC Radio Wiltshire.

Sport – an excellent block fixture against Marlborough last weekend, and a good win against Bryanston during the week too. The NatWest Vase quarter final against Reed’s School takes place at Britford Lane on Wednesday 1430KO. This Saturday’s fixture was cancelled by Beechen Cliff at very short notice which was very disappointing…
