Remembrance – for the first time there was an organised parade of cadets in school on Monday last – see the pictures on twitter. This should be an annual event from now on.

Cathedral Service – the speaker was Martyn Gough (Chaplain of the Fleet and Archdeacon to the Royal Navy)

Additional Sixth Form Open Evening – took place last Tuesday and was very busy with BWS and SWGS students as well as others from a number of different schools, pictures are on twitter. The recruitment effort continues so we will hold two further open sessions on the afternoons of Thursday 5 December and Tuesday 21 January. We already have over 40 applications to join Year 12, half from girls, though the closing date is not until the end of January 2020.
